Anybody local running big venturi skimmer?

I have a 3 footer and a 5 footer, which work great, just been thinking of upgrading the venturi or pumps. I have been window shopping and looking at a mazzei injector thats 1 inch diameter and about 8 inches long, just wondering if any locals are still using larger venturi skimmers if so what pumps are you running. Thanks.:eek2:

Their are other type;'s of skimmers? I'm in the process of building a new skimmer for a 300 gallon system. I'm thinking 2) 3/4" venturi's filling an 8"x60" skimmer powered by a Little Giant #5. You have to start someware!

Doug, you should build a big skimmer for that tank

Mine are single venturi's, maybe will try double, thats a great idea.
