Anybody running ozone

Was considering adding ozone to my aquarium. Just wanted to see what kind of experiences people are having or had....

I used to, havent in a while.

I stopped since I had an issue with my ozone generator, but while it ran, things were good.

Its not without its pros and cons, I would advise you to do a lot of reading about it before you invest, and make sure you have a very good ORP meter/controller.

Ran ozone for years on my old 90 gal reef. It did give you very clear looking water getting any yellow tint out but not sure if it had any other benefits. Have it installed as part of my new 200 gal set up but have not run it much at all. For some reason my ORP is running high on this tank.

If you do run it a lot of folks recommend also passing the water through carbon to get out any by products of the oxidation reactions.
