Anybody seen foxface(magnificent) locally?

looking for a small-medium one-some minor algae issue that my tangs are not servicing.

i saw one at exotic aquariums on bird last week. it was a 100 bucks though. they also had fiji fox face which was cool also. had an all black body w/ yellow face w/ traditional white stripe

hopefully I can get one in broward county that whole Miami drive gives me the creeps LOL.

Are you married to the Magnificent Foxface idea or are you open to other rabbitfish. I bought a bluespot rabbitfish from Big Al's about 3 weeks ago and it is an algae eating machine (except for my halimeda). Having said that, they also had 2 Magnificents there on that day. When I called they said they were 4", which is why I made the drive. When I got there they were 7":mad2: Last Thursday they had a couple 2 Bar rabbitfish.

Yeah. It sucks. I'm about to go drive down. If I stop by and they've got one, I'll give you a shout Manny. I can actually check Atlantis and Fins Reef if you want too, since they're a block away from my friend's house where I'm going. Very speculative prospect though.

I was also considering stopping by Doral to pick some Amino Acids... We'll see about that as well.

Gah now I just gotta wait for my friend to hurry up so we can get down there before traffic and everything closing.

And yes I'm pretty mucg married to the foxface-just because i have a couple of little spots that are annoying me.
Last night i was looking at the tank and Roger suggested one-I've had them in the past but still afarid of some lps stuff( Idunno)

coral reef farm usually has them and jeff usually has different sizes too.

This is way out of your way, but I saw a good number of Foxfaces at Amazing Aquariums on Bird Rd. the other day... but just regular ones. They had a nice range of sizes from about 3 inch juveniles to 7-8 inch adults... all seemed pretty healthy at a glance.

if you are looking for a magnificant foxface, you are gonna wait a long time. i work at a LFS and have been ordering at least one every week for the last 8 months and have had no luck finding any. we got one in this week that was about 7 inches and was eating right away so i settled for a larger one. i'll keep an eye out for you tho. if you want a regular foxface or a spotted african rabbit send me a pm.
