Anyone bought the T5 retro fit kits to add LEDs to their T5 fixture?

I have a Coralife quad T5 fixture that is starting to give me trouble with 2 bulbs. It is also a 30" length which is hard if not almost impossible to find nowadays. I wondered how hard it is to wire it with the kits that can add LEDs to it and make it a hybrid fixture. If I do that I probably should try to adjust the T5 caps to use 24" bulbs instead of 30". I just wondered if anyone has tried this and how it worked for them. Thanks!

I looked at those Jesse and it seems like they would. I am also considering just straight Reefbreeder Photon LEDs. I love the idea of a hybrid fixture but putting it together not so much. I am not such a big coral person that I need the very best fixture to grow coral as I am more of a fish gal who keeps coral and macros to provide my fish a natural enviroment. Thanks for the suggestion because it helps me factor all that into my final decision.
