Hey I bought him cause he was lilac colored. But in my big tank he stays hidden most of the time. I have been debating what to do with him when I switch out the tank in the next few weeks.
After I catch him I will take a pic. If you are interested let me know.
I am looking to sell a large about 6"(Regal) Hippo Tang. If your interested the price is $110.00 I would have to get it out of my tank so I am not bringing it to the swap unless there is a buyer for it.
I also have some of those small reproducing snails if anyone is interested in them the price would be $1.00 a pair. I know they are called stombellata or something like that. The cool thing about these guys is that they reproduce in your tank!
Nice looking fish, Phil. As soon as my wife gets home from work today I'll let her see it and let you know for sure. Looks like he's good and healthy. If she does want it we'll have to figure out how to transport it. Don't want to keep it bagged up too long. Don't want to miss the meet either. I'll keep you posted. I like it though. How long have you had it? I don't remember you having him when I was at your house about 6 months ago. Maybe you did but I just didn't notice him.
Ive had the fish for a couple years. I could put it in a 20 gallon tank and you could just come to the house after the swap and pick it up. This way it would not be sitting in a bag for a couple hours.
Do not bag that fish guys! Tangs can die from stress easy. Transport it in a 5 gal bucket, it will be perfectly fine that way. When I moved mine to the shop tank we used a 5 Gal and a portable powered. Perfect transition.
