Anyone do a DIY Lighting?

I am in desperate need of new lighting...at the very least 250W PC or MH to support mushrooms zoas and xenias...along with my 2 anenomes that are doing fine for the time being...anyway has anyone done it...roughly how much will it cost...money is definately an issue and im willing to build a top for it if i have to...if anyone has done it or has sites for some plans all is welcome

DIY lighting isn't hard, you will probably be looking to spend about $110 on a Halide setup if you do it all yourself.
$50 for a core and coil ballast
$5 for a mogul socket
$50-75 for a bulb depending on wattage and bulb mfgr.

Good lookin out! That setup would be good for his system and give him room for growth (livestock wise).
