anyone dose nitrates to an ulns

i started a week ago and im starting to see results. was wonderine who else has done this and thier results

I don't "dose nitrate" per say, but since getting to a ulns through biopellet use I have started grinding up both pellet and flake food in a mortis and pestil and mixing with a litter tank water, then squirming the slurry towards the vortec pumps to let them spread it. Now that I have started over feeding the tank, my corals have started to color up and grow more again. So I think with ulns that sometimes we need a little dirty in the tank.

Just feed the fishes more often, I'm sure they will love it

Haha, I kinda do, but I only have three fish right now. So its a lot of waste when they are not hungry.

In what form do you dose nitrate? Potassium nitrate or sodium nitrate?
