Anyone Dose Vitamin C

I've been dosing about every-other day for a couple/few weeks...dosage roughly on the lower end of the little chart in the link. I'm seeing greater polyp extension on sps (assuming it is from VC and not something else) and improved water clarity (again, assuming it's from VC). Zoos "look better" but probably too soo to identify true impacts.

Another interesting webpage on the subject. He noted improvement with very little VC supplementation. To break it down the 0.3mL he talks about, if you assume 100% saturation of VC into 0.3mL and his dosing on a 12g tank you see 2ppm dosing greatly improves frag survival. Saw the same results with 4ppm (0.6mL).

I used to does Vitamin C, after using up a bottle I didn't continue. I was up to 1500 MG a day. I did not see to much improvement or anything. I did not have much SPS at the time so I am not sure.

Is Vitamin C naturally in seawater?

Good, bad, or indifferent... two of my acan lord colonies who have been kind of slow and less "puffy" (no issues, just not blown up or growing as much as normal) are all kinds of puffy.

Yeah this was after trying before with the non-buffered stuff and watching our parameters freak out. Hopefully this time will go a little better with these crystals from iherb!

I just jumped on the wagon myself. I have been buying a bunch of zoo frags and I am hoping this will encourage a lot of growth and color of everything but especially the zoo's.

So anyone have results to share ? I to started a couple of weeks ago after reading this thread and noticed three things :

1) Water was more clear (within first week) - not that it was cloudy before but now was even more clear.

2) polyps on SPS were more extedned - after first week(on the few I have).

3) I had some blue zoo's that were doing ok - that now have seemd to take off. Also after about a week of adding.
