Anyone dosing Vodka here?

Just wondering if anyone here is dosing Vodka and your experiences with it.

I was dosing Vodka for a while, but the black outs, random women, and large bar tabs have been keeping me away from the stuff lately.

yeah, that grey goose stuff works pretty good, i highly recommend. even if you overdose, the after effects aren't that bad either.

Stoli Vanil & Coke Zero

This is the drink if you thought you could never stomach booze. It's like a vanilla coke! Mix with 7-up to get that authentic cream soda taste =)

go to the sps dominated thread, I have read about it... No actual proof that it does anything, supposed to increas the bacterial population of your tank, essentially adds sugars to make the bacteria breed more...

I have a primary sps dominated tank, and I would NEVER dose with anything like that or even bother to experiment.

Add some cyclopeez once in a while to keep your colors bright.

I tried it for a little while. It definitely made my skimmer go nuts. Doesn't seem to have any harm but I didn't have many corals at the time. My algae has diminished but I attribute it more to the massive overhaul that I did recently (large water changes, kalk, new lights, manual scrubbing et al)

Besides, the best vodka is potato vodka, and most of that is foreign.

AGree with Nicole.

I dosed vodka for a little while, I noticed premature algea blooms that would just happen over night and then they would not grow for a while. I guess this is what it does? Anywho...
