I been trying to find a lighting set up for my fo that i like for a few months now and just havent been happy with anything ive found.
Tried diffrent combos of floresents and t5s just to dull looking.
So the other day i tried my fuge light over top of my tank and it looks absolutly amazing heres the bulbs im using http://www.nvisioncfl.com/images/products/781-790.jpg There a 16w cfl 6500k bulb, for a 6500k they are very white but i still can see some yellow with just them on so i put the t5 atinics on with them and its the perfect combo the atinics completly mute the yellow out. Its not as bright as a mh but at first glance its hard to tell i dont have 20k mh bulbs running the white/blue light and shimmer lines are just perfect. I put 3 of these over my 180 with with 2 blue t5s i might add 2 more of the cfls not sure yet.
My only concern is the lower kalvin bulbs causing algea issues anyone want to chime in on that?
Oyea anyone no of a cfl like these but in 10k?
