Anyone else's Eel do this?

I was in the tank rearranging some things and looking for my shark (which I didn't see yesterday and got worried), and the eel got really upset and dove under the sand. Then a few minutes later he pops up to take a look around.

P.S. - I had a rock slide in the tank - probably caused by the eel - and I found the shark dead, trapped under some rocks. RIP little shark dude...

mine did that...when i got back in town i couldn't find him...moved some rock and his "pvc house" and a few minutes later, his head popped up from the sand!
