Anyone ever see this xenia?

Nice Morgan.I believe your the first in Miami with success and that color is amazing. It also looks alot bigger then some of the others I've seen.

Yeah, I feel very lucky. After I heard that it was impossible to keep, etc, etc. But I just kept my fingers crossed and I guess Johnny has a wet thumb when it comes to maintaining good water chemistry. ;]

These colonies also came in looking pretty good instead of the mush they usually come in as after shipping. I know Dave at Coral Reef Farm got some at the same time, but I've forgotten to ask him how his is doing.

Lately they've started to put feet out onto my eggcrate so I figured that was a sign from them that I should try to frag. ;]

I tried gluing a little piece down but it didn't take, so I'll have to do it the old fashioned way instead. One colony already has a foot attached and I only put the frag plugs down two days ago! hehe

Oh and FWIW, the first two pics are with flash on. Pics were taken under 1: 400 14k HQI bulb.
The funny thing is that our alk is actually low and our calc is high because Johnny was making his own supplements and the alk wasn't mixing into the solution properly. Therefore I don't know if they need hi alk to survive after all. ???
