Anyone ever smell your toadstool leather coral?

I was trying to attach my toadstoll coral to a new rock and OMG these coral have an awful smell I cant take it. I touched it and no matter how much soap or how many different kind of soap i use to wash them off they are still in my hand.

I hope the smell is not poison or anything because it is so bad bad bad.

ya i just smelled one today since i got one...not anywhere near as bad as xenia though...That stuff is 10x worse.

Try some vinegar...soak it for a couple minutes...you'll find that vinegar works for a lot of stuff in this hobby :lol: But i'd think that it may work since that is also a very strong smelling liquid...

oh ya xenia also. But xenia is like waste kinda smell but toadstool to me is ike poison gas.
