I know a few people that have the bubble Magnus and they tell me nothing but good results with that brand

For a hob skimmer it's pretty cheap. I have tried a few hob skimmers in the past and never been happy with the results. But this one looks good and it's pretty cheap in price..

I have no idea how it would prime.. But it looks fancy haha. I have heard good things about the nac6 also. I have tried so many hob skimmers though. I think I may just bite the bullet and get a overflow and sump so I can get a good skimmer.

how does it prime? the intake is far away and above the impeller.

I'm guessing it would be easy enough to remove the cup and pour tank water into the body. The pump looks about a few inches below tank water level.

I have a 180cs and I like it.
