Microbe-Lift Herbtana... it's advertised as a chemical free, reef-safe, immune booster, ich killer. sounds a little to good to be true IMO. My Hippo has a funny looking spot on his back fin. Unfortunately, he's so tiny it would be impossible to get him out of the tank for a proper QT. I also do not have any empty tanks running for a QT tank. It would be amazing if this does work, I'd pay whatever it costs just to avoid breaking down my tank.

Please any imput would be awesome.

Cheers,

Marc

If there was anything that would kill ich, that already is isnt a proven method, you would know about it.

Hypo and copper are your only choices.

Kinda what I thought, it sounded too good to be true...

Yes, of course nothing new is ever discovered or formulated. So there is no chance that this could ever work, cuz if it did, it would have been discovered 40 years ago...

Short sighted. I don't know if it works or not, but neither do you. Before you poo-poo something, you really should have some basis for that. Even if this stuff increased the resistance to ich by 5%... thats 5% more.

Sitarangi, I would wait and hear from experience instead of skeptical speculations. Besides, it can't hurt to try it. It claims itself as being unaffective to harm the reef and if it saves a fish, its worth it to try... especially if you can't get him to a QT.
