Anyone ever use these guys?

Negative. I saw their add on CL. Pretty fancy website. Up untill a few weeks ago I had never heard of them.

I talked to the owner last year. I cannot remember how I got in contact with him, but I basically stumbled across his number and called him up. He said that he was trying to get his ducks in a row and was going to do some sort of gallery or show to promote the business this year. My memory is vague about our conversation, but it boiled down to he was going to try marketing this area heavy sometime this year. I cannot remember where they moved from...NY maybe? I will see if I can dig up my notes from the conversation and get back to you.

Talked to him about the the Neo 90 he listed on CL, seems like a nice guy. You might want to do some research about the price first thou.

Good luck.

Yeah, I'm thinking the price on something they make is going to be much more than I'd like to pay. Those are some crazy houses and tanks.

Well he e-mailed me back and sent some pictures of some stands as well Beautiful stuff I must say but the price tags he told me some of these sold for made my jaw drop $15,000 although pretty made me wanna get wood working skills lol

Yeah he told me I could get Maple wood, 42” high, stained or painted to any color of my choice, with crown molding on cap and raised panel doors, full hinged panel on top for access $2500 thats still on the high side for me tho

Quality Tanks

Quality Tanks

I checked them but have also heard mixed reviews as well

If you want a quality built Tank Custom or Stock sizes, Check out Deep Seas Aquatics. They are the Old Oceanic builders who did not move when Oceanic left Texas. They started this Co and the Quality Is like the old Oceanic tanks were built. That Neo 90 Is one of their designs along with tanks like my 185gal 60X30X24H with duel corner overflows 1/2" glass or 3/4" rimless tanks with reg or Starfire glass. If you can Imagine It they can build It and they are done right. JMHO

I've got a glass cages tank that has been fine for almost 3 years. I've never heard of any local issues with them.

Brandon

I've got the tank Im just looking for a stand and canopy I've got roughly $300-400 to spend on both and its looking like I may have to build my own was gonna get one from Rhett but familly stuff popped up I wasnt expecting so Now having to work with what i got

What about Ebayfish's store tank, Broke when new and then a seam let go just recently?
Angela's tank was left with parts of It not even siliconed together, Scott Acura1 His was way out of square and I could most likely think of more If given time to think, Getting old su$ks But you get the point. JMO

I have had good experience with glasscages. The gentlemen owner has been very gruff with me, but his wife (I think she is) was very good. I think they are great on builds, rough on the edges with customer service. Since they are the only local builders I trust, I'll go to them when I am ready to go bigger again. I think there are several decent builders of stands around though? Chris at the Critter had a contact for one and there was another at last years swap.

Bill, the issues you mentioned with tanks were glasscages tanks?

Check my build thread, I built one from cheap Beadboard and a 2X4 frame, Total cost was just over 100.00 doing It yourself. Plus I wound up likeing It and will most likely leave It like It Is!
