anyone fight sps paleness by increasing Kelvin?

I have a phoenix 250 and T5 supplimentation lighting my 60 cube. Some SPS are good ( not great, colorwise). And some have lightened up. (Frags from LED light tank). All have good P/E and grow.
My MH photoperiod is only 7 hrs the 6- T5's are on either side of that for a total of 11 hrs photoperiod. I have a new Radium 20k in a drawer that I could install instead of the 14k. Worth while to try? Or is the radium and phoenix so similar it wouldn't make a diff?

Greetings. I've moved around from bulb to bulb on 175w and 250w a good deal. I more recently moved from a decent run on (250w) Radium to Phoenix 14k on my Lumatek dimmable. Even more recently I moved to 400w XM 20K, mainly to test the Lumatek. Although maybe an obvious change is expected in this event...indeed, the jump to a 400w made more of a difference than any changes perceived within the 14-20k 250w bulbs. I've run more lower kelvin on 175w and in brief, I do believe they can hold a candle to the higher kelvin 250w IME.
To answer the direct question, I think you will see a color shift from the Phoenix to the Radium. Now, will it be for the better? Eye of the beholder. I generally was ok with the switch initially. I think I will be going back to Radiums after this run.

is that phoenix a single ended 250w? ive only used the de version, which i love. the radium would be similar in color.

when i had my 75 g frag tank i ran 2-250w phoenix mh's . any thing longer then 5 hours for the mh's the colors would fade. it was a ulns so i dosed aa's a few times a week.

so many thing effect color. lets discuss your nutrient levels. n&p.. if those are ok then i would suggest feeding corals or shortening lighting period some.

btw i run my 400w radiums for 5 hours also on my current tank and t'5 for 8
