Anyone from ARS going to MACNA this year?

I have thought about it. With $69 one way flights from Huntington to Orlando I just might have to go back to Disney World and hit MACNA as a bonus.

I'm def. goin, the hotel that is hosting it is top notch, and rooms are only 99$ a night. You should check out the MACNA10 site, it looks like it's going to be a really good one. I'm hoping that if anyone from ARS goes, we can meet up somewhere down there, or possibly fly together.

I didn't see any discount for spouses?
Gosh, it's so hard to get the spouses involved, this sure would be a nice option.

If they only want to attend the evening functions (Friday night reception and Saturday Banquet) there are reduced priced options.

I agree curtis, I really had to bite the bullet with this one because I know the better halfisn;tgoing to want to be their the WHOLE time, but I still had to buy the same ticket. I know their are reduced prices for the banquet and such, but throught the day I know she would like to stop by some time and what not. Maybe even a one day pass would have been a good option.

The hotel price is great however, and I have seen this hotel in person it is top notch.

Turns out this falls on our 5 year anniversary weekend.
Honey, Im taking you to Orlando for our anniversary....

So what is your interest in going? New equipment demo's, speakers, tour, etc? Just curious.

Would it be safe to assume not much live stock is going to be sold? If so, how difficult will it be to get it back home?

I just want to go. I can come back home and order anything I see. Livestock doesn't do me much good at this point but maybe by then it will.

actually their is A LOT of livestock there. Some vendors save the best things they have for this meeting because it promotes their company's so well. If I had a reef, theres no question whether I would go or not. My interest is in anything about saltwater creatures. I plan on doing this for a career, either opening a shop or being a marine biologist at a public aquarium or maybe both. The speakers are some of the most knowledgable people in the industry as well.

I don't think I want to see any new equipment. I have most of what I need and that might just encourage me to buy new when my money should be going to livestock instead. :)

Yeah this is going to be bomb, I just paid for my hotel for 3 days, but now I'm thinkin about stayin a week. I am really looking forward to this Naomi. Any word on any new speakers besides the ones on the site? I talked to Steven Pro a while back and he was telling me how great he thought MACNA would be this year.
