wondering if anyone is going to have livestock at the swap......looking for new life in the tank....also...anyone have a yellow fiji coral to part with?

(I thought I'd post here to avoid clutter. Gary, if you want to add this to the link thread, that'd be great)

Fishboy's "frags" for the swap (clownfish)

This is an incomplete list; more than one of each item pictured is available,
but I thought I'd post at least a few to illustrate the variations.

All are captive born and raised, accept prepared foods, and are pathogen-free:

Clarkii Pair: $35 (this pair has the "pearl-eye" marking, one eye on each fish).
Normal pairs also available $20.

Misbarred A. ocellaris Pair: $25
(the male is a "teardrop," and the female is a "reverse teardrop," or "orca" ocellaris).

Gold-Striped Maroon Pair: $25
(this pair is over 1 year old, so the gold coloration has already developed).

Black & White A. ocellaris Pair: $60

A. percula Pair: $20

Misbarred A. ocellaris Pair $25
(pictured is a slightly larger pair, over 1 year old; I'd keep them for myself,
but I've done that waay to many times already!)

Matt, I have one of your clowns (regular ocellaris). What are the chances a smaller one would pair with it? My ocellaris now is probably 2 1/2". I'm thinking about giving it some company. Maybe a misbar.

Ocellaris are fairly easy to pair. I wouldn't see any problem pairing your fish with another smaller one. As long as there is a size-difference so they can work out their "roles," there are usually few problems.

Have you got any baby black ones not paired? I lost my black one to a mishap with a uncovered filter intake :( I bet the female ( he was male) would take to a new black one again easy enouph. I think he was a onyx though. Are there a difference in the A. ocellaris black and whites and what they call onyx? He was solid black with no orange on his head. What a bummer I lost him. LMK Thanks!

Sure do!

Angela, here is a thread that has pictures to differentiate "onyx" A. percula from black A. ocellaris. They are two different variants of two different species. The all-black ones are ocellaris; it sounds like this is what you have. Black clownfish thread

Yes it looked just like the black ocellaris but the one left is a regular orange and white one. It was cool seeing them mixed like that. So do you have both or just the A. Percula. Whichever will be fine by me. Just bring one of em, the cheaper variety ;). I am actually setting up my 29 for a freind and her kids to enjoy anyways so she can have a pair. I tricked her into thinking reef keeping is not much work at all Muuuha ha!!!

Fishboy, any black and white ocellaris that arent misbar? I'd like a black and white and a normal misbar ocellaris (if you have any). How much? And I would have to confirm maybe a few days before the swap because I'm still not sure if I'm gonna be able to make it or not.

Yes (to the fully-barred B&W A. ocellaris). Any specific patterning you are looking for in the normal misbar ocellaris? The pair would be $40

matt is the pair of maroons spoken for?

Nope, they are still available

Matt

Nothing in particular on the normal misbar, just somethin' different I guess. I should be at the swap, but like I said, I'll be able to let you know that Wednesday before if I will be or not. Thanks.

oh yea, the black/white ocellaris....do they eventually get solid black or will they always have the orange face?

They will eventually become a solid, jet-black. The nose is usually the last to go. One of my mature pairs (pardon the algae, not exactly a reef there  ) :

Do you have any Picasso Clowns??? IF you do, what's the price on a pair, I want a pair!!! If you don't have that one, do you have Onyx Percula? Pair price? IF no on the first type, I want a pair of this second type. Those Clowns I got from you last time are doing quite well, they're paired up now, sleeps together in the zoanthid colony. IF you don't have either one of those kinds, I would settle for the Black and White, thanks!

I think the picasso's are kinda weird looking, cool but gotta look twice like they are fake weird and very pricy if I remember right. Clowns are just so neat. Everyone needs at least one kind in there tank. BTW Matt, I love my GSM's from you. They paired back up after the break up and moved to a new home, a huge bubble coral. I thought the divorce was finnal for awhile, she was mad at him for about 6 weeks then suddenly they are back on again :).
