Anyone got a 15 or 20 gallon tank for sale?

I am looking for a 15 or 20 gallon tank for a couple of turtles. I just need the tank and a light hood. Anyone have one laying around I can get pretty cheap?

i have one....but it needs some cleaning...and i have regular incandescent lights that fit over them....and gravel if you need....its a 15 gal H tank...same base as a standard 10 g tank

$10 and its all yours....or will trade for a small frag

Love your screen name!! I'm showing my ignorance...What do you mean "H Tank?" Do you mean it is only 24" wide like a 10 gallon? I was hoping for a wider tank than a 10 gallon so the turtles will have more room to swim. Did you have the hood with the lights? Sounds like a great deal! his tank is a 15 High, the footprint is only 20x12. What kind of turtles you got? Im thinkin' about gettin some spotted turtles cause they stay small.

2 red-eared sliders. Got them in Destin last summer. They were babies, but now are 4-4.5 inches long. Don't you think I should get a wider tank? I am not very knowledgeable about turtles...but I read they need at least a 20 gal. Finding room for that tank, however, is a problem--ha ha--what with all the saltwater tanks! tee hee.

RES get big, especially if you have a female, i think they can get in the 10" range. I think maybe the males stay smaller, I havent really read up on them. I think (dont get me wrong, Im not like the tang police) they need at least a 55 gal tank so they have enough water to swim. Also have to have land with a basking light. what got me on the spotted turtles was seein' them at the Nashville zoo. Pretty cool. Sucks about the law here though. I wished AC sold turtles. I hate to have to order online.

yea it has the same dimensions as a 10 gallon, but stacked taller....think a standard 10 gal tank, with 5 more gal stacked directly on top.......it does come with a hood that came with it....and i still have lights in them....let me know if you want it ....honestly, i dont think 2 turtles will be happy in a small tank that resembles a 10 gallon.......i believe petsmart have 20 gallon Long tanks for $25, i think that might be a better deal........anywho let me know if you still want it

p.s. if u do, i'd prefer to have a frag...LOL...but $10 is cool too..LOL
