anyone has experience with Tanaka's Pygmy Wrasse or White Banded Possum Wrasse ?

I had a tanaka's for a while, lost it in a tank upgrade. Cool little fish that kept to itself and cruised the rock work. No idea about keeping them in groups.

I've had a Yellow Banded for 3+ years now. Awesome fish! They stay mostly in the rockwork, hunting for pods all day long. I've never tried pairing or groups before.

Just put this guy in the QT today. He (she?) is already very inquisitive.

This was one fish that was always on my stock shortlist. First time for an online purchase & looking good as of 10 hours post delivery.

there is a smaller wrasse, the pygmy pink streaked wrasse.
there are three species of Wetmorella - you may find there is info on a fourth, but I believe two species have been classified as Tanakas, and this may now be resolved.
I have housed multiple spp. of Wetmorella in a 55g with the Pygmy pink streaked wrasse (and other fish of course) and had no trouble.

A very peaceful, but cryptic species.

They will coexist well with congeners in small tanks, males will even coexist in 40g+ if introduced simultaneously.
