Anyone have a 29 gallon?

Tired
I had to break down my 120 a few months ago because of my living situation:( But i was finally able to set up a 29. Only problem is, the size is making me a little depressed about if its even worth it.

So im hoping that some of you have a 29 gallon and can show me some pics to inspire me!!!

If you have one please help me out and post some pics

It's not a reef, but it is 29 gallons!! This is a PITA as it is; I couldn't imagine the maintenance required for a SW version. Kudos to those that do!!

A 29 gallon tank starts the infection, which for me lead to a 55, 60 and 75.
You may want to skip these intermediate steps and just get a 120.
Save you time and money!

Lol, I had the 120. It was fully stocked and running smoothly for two years, then i had to move into a place with no room for it. Thats why ive got the 29 now

When you move, up the ante...
Get a bigger place!!!
Or deal with less room, which is what I do!!!!!
At one point I had all the above tanks running at once... true chaos!!!
I'll dig up some pics of the 29(long) I had and d/l for ya. Memory lane... lol
BTW, Salt Lake, huh... Pretty cool summer we're having here in the west!

Lol Im sure ill end up cramming a bigger tank in somewhere eventually. If my roommate didnt have over 60 tanks around the house maybe i could find a bigger space for one.

Remember,
tanks make great stands for tanks!...
I can see it now, a wall bank of tanks systematically overflowing each other like a stack of champaigne glasses into a main...
OOOOh
you gotta talk to that roomie!
LOL

The new right side

I won't be able to let anything get really huge, it's going to have to be kept more like a bonsi garden...at least I've got a bonsi frag to go with the theme..lol..

Only two ways to make a 29 fun.

Fill it with legos and keep changing the scenery (working on the tank).
OR
Drill the side and put a tap on it. Drain it, repeat.

don't be sad. i broke down a 55gal when i was in college for a 10gal. it was WAY easier to move in college...i upgraded to a 20H.

sorry a pic of my 20H...it's now 29 but close ;)

Great pics guys!!! And that 20 long is definately inspiring. I was getting worried I would be able to have a really nice tank with such small space

secrest - if you are talking about mine it was a 20high. thanks for the compliments if you were talking to me.

small space doesn't mean anything but saving on water changes and buying smaller equpment. other than that the same rules apply as big tanks IMO. i took that approach w/ my 20H and bent/broke some rules w/ it. i ran 1x400w 20k MH on it and a ca reactor. not many..if any were doing that around that time and i had to prove the "big boy" concept can work for small tanks too

later

Yeah I meant you, Im really impressed with that tank. Ive kinda taken that approach as well with mine, ive got a 250w halide and 2 75w vho actintics and took the calcium reactor, skimmer, and auto top off from my 120
