Anyone have a par meter??

As I stated in a previous post I purchased a couple of the Plusrite 20k metal halide bulbs. Today, I figured what the .... there so cheap might as well add the 14k to the order, so I did.

So I'm looking to borrow a PAR meter if anyone has one and is willing to share. I'd like to take some readings of the bulbs in my tank and then write up a little comparison. Then, maybe borrow the meter again in 6 months and see what kinda PAR the lights are still putting out.

If all works out well and the numbers look good, coral looks good and fish look good others may be able to save quite a bit of money on lights as well. Even if I have to change the bulbs twice a year it will still only cost $40 for 4 of the 14k bulbs or $45 for the 20k.

I found great write ups and comparisons on the WAMAS and CORA sites and quite a few happy customers as well.
