Has anyone had any experiences with kleeping Horseshoe crabs? I was thinking of geting on for my DSB, and was curious about if they eat all the pods in the sand or if they are very beneficial?

I've never had them, but i know that a dsb isnt all they need. They need lots of open sand. Just having a deep sand bed with not much room wont be very good for them as they get humongus.

They can get kind of big and can nock things over as they get bigger.

I had two of them for a while and would only see them just before the light came on, everything seem ok but after a couple of month they disappeared. They molted a few time, and each time I thought they died, there like shrimp when they molt, leaving there skeleton behind. I have two "carpets" in the tank, I can only think that they got eaten. LOL
