anyone have any idea whats going on?

so today I was looking at my tank and found my large hermit crab right in the middle of my ricordea(about ten). This struck me as unusual because I dont usually see him unless I look at my tank after the lights go out. At first I thought he was eating them but after closer observation he was simply poking the biggest one. Not sure if anyone else has witnessed this but it struck me as odd... and then when I tried to move him he got ****ed and tried to attack my fingers. Anyone chime in please

Was he poking by the mouth? Maybe stealing food

i started thinking about that as well, but from what I could see he was poking all over the place and the ricordea was not taking a liking to it one bit.
