has anyone changed the bulbs to a diff brand? if so what temp and brand? do you like them better that the stock bulbs as far as color? pics would be greatly appreciated!

i had a 2x150W sunpod for awhile and used Phoenix 14K's

I have a 72 inch sunpod with the 14k bulbs that came with it. I am not sure I like the color though looks ok with my PC actinics but without the actinics it looks a bit of a yellow tint.

mine came stock with the pee-yellow 10k's, i liked the Phoenix alot...i've seen the 14K stock bulbs as well and the Phoenix's are leaps better

I dunno but the sunpod pro is a fu--ing piece of s--it. I had 2 fixtures sent to me both with malfunctions and the fans sound like a vacum cleaner. luckily I bought it from foster smith that has the best customer service on the planet. Went with the aqua medic
