Anyone have experience with aquarium depot?

They often take awhile to ship, sometimes up to a week. There is no real easy way to contact them but through their contact system, they NEVER answer the phone.
DOA claim process is a nightmare. Fyi. I suck it up and took a loss once before. It was a pain. Paypal won't cover live goods so remember that also...

Wish I would have know they used to be reefs2go...
I just ordered some Zoas from them...lets see how long they take to ship.. order was placed on Monday and I still haven't heard anything fro, them.

Yeah, their "shipping" page is a pain also, sometimes updating days later

I had to open a case with them with the Florida department of agriculture. They had their paypal account frozen for refusing to send money back on a canceled order (canceled before it was even put together). And then refused to litigate over the missing items in an order giving excuses such as "ten branches on that gorgonian counts as ten individual purchases). I could go on, but I won't. But I would never order anything online from them again no matter how cheap it is. Paypal tried for 30 days to get the people to communicate with them. When they didn't my money was refunded for the received order. I was only asking for them to honor their guarantee (the snails arrived dead and rotting) and to be sent the number of products I ordered. I never asked for my money back on my order, but they refused any and all communications.
Needless to say they wound up reimbursing me for every penny spent.

Oh, and when I contacted the agricultural department I was apparently not the only one with issues. They already had a folder full of complaints.
Sounds like not everyone has had good luck. I placed a small order with them and it arrived fairly quickly and with what I ordered. Wasn't livestock or anything like that though.

Are you guys sure its the same place? Reefs2go is out of Florida and Aquarium Depot is from California. Both have websites but it is strange that Reefs2go's only way of contact is by email.

Sounds like the first Aquarium Depot has a good case against the later for causing confusion in the market place. Especially if the later one is the one with the bad reputation .
Well, just to give everybody an update.
I purchased 6 zoa mini colonies on Monday never got an email, never got a receipt, never got a shipping confirmation.
But Yesterday, Thursday, I received the order. Very nicely packaged and so far good looking zoas.
I cant say that the communication was the best ive seen but the product seems to be just fine.

just a heads up on this I just ordered 3 zoas and a bubble tip anemone 2 zoa and the anemone showed up dead and rotting. I have attempted contact though phone email and even tried to fax them with my phone number on it. they have yet to respond or answer my questions it has been 10 days since I tried to contact them. NEVER USE THIS SITE!!!!!!
I placed an order before seeing all the bad post about them."This doesn't sound good"

I just made my first order. Prices were fair and figured since they were a larger company would pack things better. So after floating for two hours and accllimation drip...been 26 hours.
3x-Blue Leg Hermit Crab "“ XLG
***Super small. Would hate to see the normal size. Maybe 8-10mm in length.
My blue leg that died was the size of a half dollar. Miss him!
2x-Scarlett Leg Hermit Crab ***One arrived dead out of shell. The other even smaller than the blue legs.
2x-Tonga Nassarius Snails - (nassarius distortus) - ***AWESOME
2x- Australian Blue w/ Green Eye EnvyChalice - ***AWESOME colors and seem to be fine.
1x-Aqua Acropora Frag - 1-2" - ***Arrived in very cloudy water super pale, have seen no hint of any polyps opening or any color or any sign of life.
Maybe should have been shipped with a bit more water.
1-Green Star Polyps Coral (Pachyclavularia sp.) - ***NOTHING! No sign of life"¦
10 polyp frag -Yellow Face Zoanthids Coral - ***No polyps opening yet,
10 polyp frag - Red People Eater Palys - Palythoa - ***No polyps opening yet,
20 polyp frag - Fire and Ice Zoanthids Coral - ***No polyps opening yet,
20 polyp and 10 polyp frags - Fruit Drop Zoanthids - ***A couple opened a little.

***Maybe 20 polyps partially opened in several areas.

How did this turn out?
Wish more people followed up so we knew what the outcomes were.
ONLY DEAD item from my order so far was the crab. No losing sleep over that if the Zoas open...
