yeah I think throwing a PLC at the problem would be way overkill.
Like I said, ther are some of us who "could" build a temp controller...... I thought about it but trust my good ol ranco.
The love control unit is pretty bulletproof also for the price. I have seen or used AB and Danahar stuff but never seen red lion. I am sure it is as tuff as the others. AB sure can't be beat for it's durability but wow is it expensive.
