Anyone have some pics of pinched mantles

So i have a maxima and i just noticed yesterday that the right side of the clam is not extending like the rest of the clam. Now it is extending alittle but not like the rest of the mantle!



So if u have a picture of what pinched mantles look like, can u please post it here? I hope this is not what I have.

My clam in on a rock and has it's foot attached to a rock and I have that rock epoxy'd to another rock about mid way up my tank!

Oh and I have 300 watts of MH's and 64 watts of T5's


I feed Dt's every 3rd day as well and frozen cyclopeeze too.

This is my first clam. Tank has been set up for a little over 6 months and everything else in the tank looks good.

I have no fish that bother it!
I have a pair of occ. clowns and a McCosker's wrasse.


Tank is a 65 gallon AGA too!

And the after: Now it does extend more than this but I took the pic with the flash first and it startled it and i closed up a little

And I'll try to testmy water tonight. I may post the results tomorrow!

I see some white stuff below the clam, did you epoxe the clam down?

I epoxy'd the rock that the clam was attched to!




Well it's too late! My clam dropped its foot yeasterday and it was dead today! Hermits finished off what was left!
