What’s up with my clam?

I have a nice clam I picked up at a local swap from a vendor. It seems to be doing well but has browned out some in the upper folds of its mantle. Just curious if this is normal or it is in need or maybe more or less light?

I know nothing about clams but here's a free bump. That's what, a 2 inch clam? It's probably the change in lighting from where it came. Do you know your PAR and did you/could you ask the seller what they had it under?

I haven't kept a Tridacna species in a long time, but smaller clams require feeding. Also, the gaping mouth usually is concerning if I remember correctly.

Those are not brown out spots, but it is the pattern of the mantles of your Crocea. It looks like it need more light. IMO, they need bright white light rather than blue.
