I don't hear much about these. They're Micro Blanophyllia's. They're like Dendros but smaller. Just wanted to know if someone else has them and how they do for you?

They look like sun flowers. Mine close during the day and opens up during the night or during feeding time. They are pretty when they open up fully!!

I've had about 10 polyps or so for a while now. I don't think I've been feeding them enough, so they've barely grown. I also have B. ponderosa, aka giant balanophyllia.

I don't have those, but I do have a couple varieties of dendro's. Did you get those from The Captive Reef website? They look great, I have been debating buying them for a while. How big are they, the size of the polyps on a sun coral?

viper - I feed at least once a week. I like to feed twice when I have time. I haven't seen much growth, and I've had them for a few months now. But on the other hand, for about 3 weeks, they didn't open much. I don't think they were happy, but lately they're doing really good.

cmondo - Yep I got them from Mike. The big polyps are small, maybe half the size of a dime. Only thing is you'd have to buy like 5 polyps for it to look like something worth while. :)

I'd go for it, especially if you like dendros.

Thanks for the feedback. I just got my first job out of college so I may buy myself a present and order them and a few micros while I am at it.
