Anyone having problems with Blueline pumps?

A friend of mine has had his blueline pump quit on mine twice in the last 3 weeks. He said it would start to get loud the stop. Took it apart and cleaned it out ( not much gunk in it) and it worked fine.

This is the only problem I heard, and he is unsure what to do.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any problems.

i JUST WENT THROUGH TWO UNITS. SAME THING LOUD. COULD NOT FIX ONE. IT KEPT TRIPPING THE BREAKER. THE OTHER ONE IS SO LOUD THAT I STOPPED USING IT. I ORDERED A DART PUMP INSTEAD. HAVE NOT HOOKED IT UP YET. HOPE IT IS NOT TO MUCH PUMP FOR MY TANK. I AM STILL USING TWO OTHERS ON MY TANK. ONE FOR MY SKIMMER AND ANOTHER FOR RETURN. I LIKE THE PUMPS OTHER WISE.
