I noticed this yellow sponge looking object this am on my glass cleaner. My package was installed this Monday and on Tuesday I bought the glass cleaner and left in tank which was brand new. Any ideas?

Your package was installed?

Just looks like a sponge to me. I have plenty of the same thing in my tank. Not sure about the timeline here though . . .

Yes I put everything in last Monday after I picked it up from the airport. I started a different thread in the invert section because after this post I put fell off and began moving. It's a certain type of nudibranch.

that was my next guess !

sponges do not grow in 24 hours that I have ever seen....

From the folks of the FWC

It's difficult to tell from the image of it on the canister, but if it's the one here, http://s1290.photobucket.com/user/Mk12spr/media/image_zps7t0vqmsq.jpeg.html, it's a nudibranch. Looks like a dorid species.

always something new .... soo many kinds of critters out there!

PS: this weekend I did some clean up and pulled some medium crabs out of my display tank and one that was almost big enough to cook for dinner!

next week I need to do the second half of the tank, moving all that rock is a bee!
