Anyone in Albuquerque?

This is my first post, so it's probably in the wrong place

Are there any Reef Centralites in/near Albuquerque? I just moved here and am just starting a new reef tank (15g) after being out of the loop for about 8 years, so it would be cool to get some local knowledge about LFS's, clubs, etc.

Hey Green, welcome to NM. Right now the best LFS in Albuquerque are Clark's and Coral Island. There used to be a club that met every 3rd week of the month on Thursdays at Coral Island, but I never went to them so I could'nt tell you a whole lot about them. The guys at both Clark's and Coral Island are really good and can help you get back into things. Clark's usually has really good prices, but Coral Island has some really nice fish, it's just really expensive in comparison. Albuquerque doesn't have a huge community of reefers, but you will see the same people at the stores over and over, and everyone here is pretty friendly, and willing to talk. Coral Island is the best store in Albuquerque. I have never been to the meeting but the owner is nice. Clarks is ok but not as much of a selection. Alb is a great place to live hope you like it....
