If anyone is free tomorrow a couple of extra hands would be appreciated. We are going to be carrying the new tank in and it weighs approximately 650 pounds. I live in Sissonville if anyone is bored around noon.

I might be, not sure just yet. PM me your cell phone and when you hope for people to arrive. I can give you a call in the morning if I do become available.

Nice looking tank! What's the dimensions and how much does it hold? Have you checked into the glass handle type thingys you can rent at u-haul. I have heared good reviews about them but have never used them.

Good luck on the move. Send us some pics once it is in it's resting spot!

Yep got it in and moved the 210. The 210 is back up and running. I'm going to try to get started on some of the plumbing tomorrow.

I would have been available but someone invited me to go riding, since I have only been one other time in 5 months and with the weather I had to take them up on it.

How many people did it take to move the 300? Also, what type of bracing does it have on the top? Just wondering.

It took eight of us to get it in the house.

Here is a picture showing the bracing.

I managed to see what $204.87 worth of pvc looks like.

Then I started doing a little plumbing. Unfortunately my knee was bothering me too bad to get much done. I started on the return lines. Still trying to decide if I am going to do two or three. Then I have to start building the undergravel (or undersand) jet system.

Ever look into frontosas? cyphotilapia I think. They are really exquisite fish. I kept a school of them before going SW.

I really like fronts, just don't really want to dedicate a tank to them. I plan on moving most of the fish from my 210 to the 300. The 210 will then be occupied by two dovii.

I see. Dovii are very cool fish. If you ever go to Chattanooga aquarium check out their Sout American display. They have several pairs of Dovii in the huge display. They are gorgeous. A couple pairs had fry swarming around them.

I got a little more done last night but not much. I spent a good part of the evening at physical therapy to help with recovery from a recent knee surgery.

Anyway, I finished most of the plumbing under the tank. I just came up short a couple of pieces of 1 1/2" pvc and a couple of 90's. I'll finish it up tonight. I also received the biomedia for my sump and got that in. I am using 280 nylon scrubbies and five gallons of bio balls. I may add a few more bioballs.

I also took a few minutes to enjoy the "little" tank. :D
