Frag it and trade frags instead of the whole thing going to just one person.

I fragged my sarcophyton once and it found over 13 new homes and has since been propagated. Just a thought.

Mine was well over a foot tall, got to close to a candy cane which burnt it's base resulting it being melted to nothing - what a mess.

Yep sarcos get burnned easy, but they are among my favorite soft coral. I would love to find a blue polyp one. I have heard legends but have never seen one.

As far as me fragging it, I've never done it before thus I'm a little reluctant. Plus, I'm studying for the Bar so time is a factor.

You can keep whatever you like; I don't really care. The thought of slicing it up makes me nervous.

Bring it in between 1 pm and 5:30 Thursday or Friday and I'll chop it up. Let it sit in the frag tank and bring frags to the next meet if all goes well.

I have one that has been fragged at least twenty times in the past three years. I think it tries to hide itself when I come toward the tank. They grow really fast and can take up alot of space if not kept trimmed.
