I have a Longspine Urchin I purchased several years ago. I'm in process of tearing down and replacing the tank. So, I'm needing to find a home for this Urchin. His body is a little smaller than a tennis ball and his spines span about 10-12".

I'm willing to give him to any SLASH member that's interested. Of course, if you'd like to offer me a few Ricordea Florida polyps in exchange, I wouldn't turn that offer down:D

If you're interested please PM me. I can take pictures if requested.

I would be interested in seeing a picture of it. Sounds awesome. Anyway you could post one here?

If I have time, I'll try to take a picture tonight. You'll have to ignore the hair algae in the tank (one of the reasons I'm starting over;))

He's not cooperating. He's just hanging out in the upper front corner of the tank tonight. But, here's the best pic I could get for now.

Had a couple people over the weekend asking for more pictures in relation to the size of the urchin. Well, until yesterday afternoon, he was not cooperating and was staying in the back corner...which made it impossible to get a good picture. Yesterday, he finally moved to the front of the tank and I was able to snap some pics. Sorry for the poor quality, I'm a terrible photographer.

Close up, the orange item is a razor scraper added to show relative size (it didn't land where I wanted it to;))
