I have a Skimz sk202 external skimmer. It has an es2800 pump on it. I had it going for probably 9 months and it never seemed to pull out the amount of crud that I felt like it should. I talked to aquacave when I first set it up and they said keep the water level as low as it can be and open the air screw all the way. I have done that but I never took the air screw all the way out. Would that make any difference? It seemed like it skimmed pretty wet all the time. I don't know if I should upgrade the pump on it or what? Any ideas what I should try? I had it plumbed outside my 210 gallon above it on a wall at the otehr house. This house I can fit it in the sump with the new stand I had made. Would that make any difference?
