Anyone know what this is

I was lifting some rock work to try to catch a gorilla crab and found this dark brown jelly like stingy stuff. It is a big clump. Hope the picture comes out good.

if it has some white spots its invert eggs. most likely from sea hare.

I will have to look, but what do I do? Are they going to hatch? I guess they will get eaten? How many?

I was just doing some reading and 3 sites had different articles. 1 site said they can lay up to 500,000 eggs, another said up to 80 million and the 3rd said up to 1 billion eggs.
