some reason my clip on my t5 reflector melted and i need to get another one. i been checking online but can't find it. anyone knows if any of the shops here sell them?
Melted? Is it plastic?I hope not. Or was it a spot weld that came undone? I think youd be better off with either of 2 options. Good ol' DIY and hopefully not too dangerously ghetto, or break down and pay the man 20 dollars for a new one. By the time you got finished driving around and eventually paying for one youd be outta pocket at least half that
Yeah, whats up with it melting?!? I have only seen metal clamps and they sure don't melt! I would call Princeton at Innovative Lighting and tell him what you need then see what he can do for you. They have taken care of me pretty well.
no bay area, www.innovativelights.com. Acrylic, plastic, anything short of metal is gonna melt. Are you using individual reflectors or is it a clip that keeps em all in under a panel reflector? Im just trying to picture what you have, it sounds different than what we all may be assuming.
yes it is the clip that fastens the reflector to the bulb. i have individual reflectors and they are all plastic or at least looks plastic maybe acrylic. but i will call catalina see if htey got any.
They would have to rivet one on, or they'll sell you one of there cheaper versions prolly for 5 bucks. My advice, nix all those acrylic clips. What brand of light and where did you get your unit and exactly what did you get?More info PLZ!
