Anyone like their brs dual reactor ?

Seems like a good deal for two reactors. Most of the threads asking about this one are a few years old and the recommendations seem to be for the tlf 150 instead. I'm curious if anyone actually still uses the brs model or does everyone end up with a different reactor?

Many use it.. Its just fine..
Its just water filter housings..

Some have claimed "clogging" problems with certain media..
The TLF reactors are good too..

Love mine. No problems at all. I bought a used set of extra canisters, too.
I keep the extras cleaned and filled, ready for when the time comes to replace the media. I can do it easily and quickly, so I'm less inclined to procrastinate.

I have one and it's ok but I would go with seperate tlf150 reactors on the lower end.

The only reason I use them is because I need to keep them in my stand under a tank that has no sump. Since they're canisters that don't leak this gives me peace of mind. Otherwise I wouldn't use them.

Used them for several years on my previous tank. Just purchased another set for my current tank. They work well. Should be cleaned when you change the gfo (4-8 weeks).

I just bought a brs deluxe with mj1200 used. First had some gfo and it had enough flow for that media. Switched to biopellets and i had to use my mag 5 pump.

Also use teflon tape on the thread and pull on the locking tube to seal. But i had some leaky end since it was nat well taken care of so with some tinkering got it leak free

I ran one for a period of time. Personally I switched to TLF phosban reactor. IME it has functioned better in my application.
