As fate would have it, I need a new tank soon.
Was looking at the office nanocube and wondering why the water level was so low, and realized the tank is leaking. Quickly threw the lr, fish, and corals into a little garbage can with a bit of water, and filled up a few 2 liter bottles with tank water. Left the sand and tiny bit of water in the tank for later transfer. It seems the bottom seam is leaking. It is a 8+ year old 14g nancube dx.
The only thing that makes sense to me is to replace the tank. If I do try to reseal it, that will have to wait and may not be worth the trouble.
If anyone is looking to unload a biocube 29 or something similar, let's talk. My office doesn't look as nice with the garbage can-o-fish. Not sure I'm ready to buy a new one with stand.
