Anyone near Syracuse got a RBTA split FS?

I do, I have three, one split twice and one is spoken for, but none of them are accessible because two of them have their feet on the glass at the back of the tank, under the overflow, and the third is on a large rock.

Flanders, tanks but getting them off the glass isn't the problem, it's where they are that's the problem. My view would be blocked by the over flow box so I wouldn't be able to see what I was doing. What we have done in the past is chisel the piece of rock that the foot is on when they are on a rock. The nems on the glass haven't moved in months and I really want two of them gone before they split again. I now about changing the flow and all that to **** them off and get them to move but it has never worked for me and upsets my whole tank.

Another trick is to place an icecube on the other side of the glass. The cold will eventually make them let go, just make sure your fingers don't go numb in the process :) I've never done it myself because that situation hasn't arisen yet, but I hear it works.

Removing them from the glass is typically easy. A credit card will do the trick, just like removing the ice off of my windshield this morning.
