Anyone running LED supplementation?

I'll be running 3 250w HQI's on the new tank and I am looking to run LED actinics. I have been looking at the Ecoxotic Panorama lights as well as the Ice Cap Lunar Lights. Would like to get some opinions and suggestions.....

I love my 48" icecap LED strip, T5 can't beat LED in color

I have 2 actinic powerbrites that I am running. The colors are amazing under them. You can get them on clearance at preimum aquatics now. Great for the price.

I run Panoamics and Stunners. If you are jsut looking for color enhancement, the stunner blue may be the ticket and is 1/2 the price of the panoramics. I have had excellent results and am very pleased with the Exotics LED's.

I'm playing with some cheap (not par38) led spotlights and have been somewhat impressed with them so far even in my 30" deep and way to big tank.

Ive looked at the stunners, reefbrites and icecaps. The most reasonable by far are the stunners and icecaps. I do like the idea of link-ability. The less cords the better. What would be a good rule of thumb in figuring out how many you need?

It depends on your use. There is no golden rule. Your best bet is to go to the critter and ee them in action and decide hpw many and how much of what light you want.
