Half of the wild colonies at LA right now can look like that if you grease the photos up enough.

Yea o ly time will tell what it will look like in the end, but I haven't seen one with thoes colors yet. Rainbow nasuta is nice and grows very quick.

I don't want to rub it in but it's actually a fairly common coral here in Aus  they're a gorgeous coral though!!

Tank 121 that one doesn't look like the one featured in their write up.

Wrangy, your talking about the one with a pink purple base, blue polyps, and neon green coralites? That's common in aussie? Can't wait for it to show up here because I haven't ever seen one. Reef builders doesn't really do write ups on anything that's particularly common either. I have seen a number of a nasuta with thoes colors but never one with all blue polyps and thoes colors at the same time. If they have all blue polyps they are normally one color or two similar colors. Although the blue polyps could fade to only the end of the branches if it's a freshly collected piece, they didn't go into much detail about how long it's been in the holding tanks.

For the people who are saying they see this piece in aussie can you show some pictures? I am curious as to what's out there because I don't see many Aussie nasuta come in on this side of the states.

Yeah, I would say a piece comes in every month or more depending on how the collectors are feeling and the neon green corallites are waaayyy over done lol they're like a faint green tint to them. I'd say you'll see some more coming your way soon with that article coming out lol

I don't have any pictures, Andrew has certainly posted a few before though :)

My LFS brings in monthly shipments from Corals Down Under. They just told me CDU is going collecting for more of these tomorrow and we will get a shipment in next week. I'll post a picture if I manage to snag one. I have a similar lookjng one from them that's mint green body, purple corallites and blue polyps

Maybe Andrew can share a pic but I don't remember seeing any pictures of nasuta like this with all blue polyps. I am aware the picture is shopped up a little bit, looking forward to seeing what people can share and what is going to come in. I would bet that there are a number of corals similar to this but this one must have stood out more than the rest to write a page about it, but that's just a guess though.
