Anyone seen any cleaner wrasses??

Which kind? I saw that Ocean blue had a bunch of the little neon cleaner gobies. But i guess i am answering my own question since it's a goby not a wrasse.:)

Honestly for nature's sake I wish people would stop collecting and selling these. Though once they come into a store its not like they're going to go back out into the ocean so good luck finding one take good care of it!

+1
I think I saw two at Ocean Direct in Longwood the other day. But neon gobies are good cleaners and can be tank bred!!!

Well with the decline of the reefs we should really stop collecting everything. Especially things like Magnifica anemones that have such a poor success rate. That's just the catch22 of the hobby. If anyone can take care of fish though it is Thor.

btw I bought a Cleaner Wrasse earlier in the year and got lucky that it eats pellet food...all my fish run away from him though. lol.

I have one and he eats just about anything. I bought 2 but the bigger one kept picking on the littler one and i think killed it. The big 1 has been with me for a little over 6 months. He is always trying to pick off the fish.

Thanks Tom for the complament!! Hey eric you have a cleaner wrasse? i have been reading and there have been more and more cases of people having long term sucess with them (1-2yrs).

Would you believe I saw one in Petland at Waterford lakes today? it was $15. I'd be happy if you gave it a home so it wont die in their tanks :)

Yeah I thought they were very hardy fish until I recently herd they were not that easy to keep. Well I had him for at least 6 months and my tank parameters have not been perfect. he has always been a very healthy looking and active fish. When ever I am in the tank he will try and peck at me. it doesn't hurt just sometimes catches me off gaurd. He is always trying to clean the fish so I assume he is doing a good job. I recently got a copperband and he is a little spooked of the cleaner wrasse. Hopefully he will let him do his job soon.

Mine has been with me for over two years with no issues, it also eats algae :D and tons of other stuff.
