Anyone skilled at getting zoas off rocks?

I have some really nice zoas on some rock in my tank. I'd like to transfer some to disks to grow out in my sump. I can do the razorblade think when they are on a disk as the surface is flat but last time I tried to do this from a rock I mangled about 1/2 the zoas. Right now I'm staring at some Tubs Blue Zoos that I are too pretty to kill.

Suggestions? Tricks of the trade?

I have used a razorblade, check card, and just broken off a piece of the rock.
