Zoas feasting on my torch? 😒

Hey guys, have you ever seen this in your tank? The torch on the left was bought and is growing happily in the tank, the zoas/palythoas (not sure, they came with the live rock and are growing)….just noticed that one of the torch polyps is being eaten by the soft coral.
I am not sure if I should intervene, remove the soft coral or something else…suggestions?
Thanks

Can you move the torch? If so, I’d do that. Zoas will catch food, so it’s more likely just a feeding response to the torch tentacles brushing against it.

There’s coral warfare on the reefs and in our tanks all the time. If they stay in contact, the dominant coral will win.

I tend to let my corals fight it out (unless one is a coral I didn’t introduce intentionally) because the close proximity of the colonies is a more natural look.

I’m leaning warfare side. I’m betting the torch brushed it/stung it and it closed in defense catching the tentacle
