Anyone tried before keeping blue spotted rays?

yes have cared for 12 of them one of them ate but then later died just like the others.

It depends on which type you are talking about. I am guessing that you mean the blue spotted ribbon tail. There is another called just the blue spotted (Dasyatis kuhlii) which is very hardy but not commonly found.
