Anyone up for another 135 Thread?

Ok :)

Off to sleep now, I have some mystery virus (i.e. probably mono, getting tested tomorrow), and haven't been to school in a week. Thanks for the help Kayla! Nice talkin to ya :D

Ouch! Hope you feel better soon! Mono can be nasty.

No problem--I'm glad to help, and goodnight. :)

I'm changing my plumbing. I will now have two 1.5" drains, and the middle hole will be the return that I will split. Using the calculator, I will have 1153gph from the return, and 1200gph from the PHs. I've also decided to bite the bullet and get a Tunze 6080. Some saving is needed :p. That would put me at 4598gph, or 34x turnover. I'm assuming with this I'd be able to keep all but the highest flow requiring organisms. Sound like a good plan?

I lied I'm not doing that. I'm actually not sure what I'm thinking about doing. Buuuuuut, I'm sure about this :D:

Everything's coming along nicely. The monti has grown a bit, I just can't get a good picture, so yeah...when I do, I'll show you guys :)

That is what the Foxface is going to help me with :D
I've already seen him go at it, so my plan is working
I'm also getting 30 more snails on Saturday, and building a fuge this month, so my attack on algae is underway.
Phase 1: Complete
Phase 2: Saturday
Phase 3: Sometime this month

Nice clam! Derasa or squamosa? You got that from Mike, from BRS right? I bought his old stand.

ya it is a maxima see the base of it its got all those mantles i think that maxima's are the only ones that have that formation

lol, well you have a very nice tank! The Foxface is very skittish. When I walk downstairs, he hides behind a big patch of hair algae . I sit for a little and he comes out, and just sits right around that patch. He hasn't explored much yet, but he will. When I put my hand in the tank to stick on his lettuce clip, he bolted away. Oh well :lol. All in good time :)

i'm trying to feed my fish by hand so far it has worked alittle the naso keeps his distance like he is not to sure but all the others have no fear and will eat from my fingers.i get alittle nervous when i see that niger trigger coming up!!!!!

arn't those venoumous
Yeah, the Foxface has venomous dorsal spines. However, I've taken the necessary precautions. I won't stick my hand in the tank if he's around. But, this one is so timid right now, if my hand even comes close to touching the water, he'll dart away into the rockwork. Just checked on him, and he's got his night colors on and is sleeping soundly :D

A Foxface is one of the best fish you can put in a reef tank. They'll eat everything bad and are very different looking fish. I actually do pet mine, when I put my hand in the tank all of my fish come right up. I did have a problem with him eating some clove polyps, daisy polyps, and elegance corals but other than that he's been great

I just got a foxface 2 months ago and I have loved him. He his venomous but whenever I put my hands in the tank and go near him he usually darts away. He cleared up my algae problem and haven't seen any hair algae since or and macro algae. My favorite fish in the tank. Oh and mines about 5 inches.
